Kids Club and Summer Camp Excitement--March 2024

Donna helps her Kids Club 2nd graders learn memory verses.  Students are learning about Jesus’ miracles, His entrance into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, and His death, burial, and resurrection this month.  We continue to teach in English and Spanish so all our students will hear and understand our lessons.  We are thankful for a Spanish speaking small group leader in every grade level this year so students can learn and grow in Kids Club.  Ann shares the gospel in small groups and with our middle school helpers. Kids Club students are eagerly anticipating going to His Hill Ranch Camp this summer in Comfort, TX.

Teen Time students continue to be committed to attending every Wednesday evening for Bible study.  School projects and homework are ever on their minds.  Each week when we ask for prayer requests, improving their grades in science and math are always mentioned.  Two of our students will be going to Japan this summer as part of their school curriculum.  One will be graduating and looking forward to a career in the military.  Please pray for spiritual growth and maturity in their lives.

In anticipation of gifts needed for Gifts of Love Christmas for our Kids Club students’ families this fall, we would ask you to consider donating any new or unused gift items you might have in your home for our baskets.  Please email Joyce at jcvelasquezsa55@gmail.com to set up a time you might want to bring gifts by the office.

Additionally, we anticipate needing school supplies for 75 students, kindergarten through high school in late July.  If you enjoy purchasing school supplies or giving financially for them, please be on the lookout for good deals or make your donation anytime for us to purchase.
