Our Staff Loves the Ministry February 2020

I have been on the One Way International staff for almost 20 years. God has given me opportunity to minister in places I never would have imagined:  from San Antonio's inner city to the wonderful country of Moldova after the people were freed from the clutches of the Soviet Union, to Nigeria and India.  I am so grateful to God for giving me a heart for the impoverished around the world.  Now my time is spent locally in San Antonio where the need for Jesus is so great and the love God has given me for children can be shown in practical ways.  I relish the opportunity to present the Gospel to the Colonial Hills Elementary Kids Club children through the amazing miracle of an after-school Bible Club on the premises of this public-school campus.  The Kids Clubs at Kerrybrook Apartments and the SAMM Homeless Shelter are also wonderful opportunities to evangelize and disciple children each week of the year.  Being on the OWI staff has helped me to go "outside of my comfort zone" where God has provided opportunities I never would have imagined when I first believed in Jesus.  Homer Schott

As staff assistant for OWI I love that I am able to be a part of Kids Club by performing many behind the scenes jobs. I keep track of weekly attendance, make name tags, print check in/check out lists, contact the school from time to time, and make sure the team has what it needs to keep everything running smoothly during pick up and drop off. Along with Kids Club duties, each season provides new opportunities for me to serve. In the fall, I help prepare school supplies. At Christmas, I sort through every generous donation that comes in for Gifts of Love and help pack and deliver the gifts. In late winter and spring, it seems there is always another holiday to prepare for or more teacher appreciation gifts to pack. Children’s ministry has always been a part of my life in one way or another, and I am grateful for the opportunity I have to contribute part-time while my kids are still young and in school.  Aimee Neugebauer
