We were able to provide special gift boxes for the Colonial Hills staff in November filled with hot chocolate, snacks, and candy before Thanksgiving break. Staff are always appreciative and encouraged by the gifts they receive.
Each week at Kids Club one of our volunteers shares a devotional with the middle school students who come to help us. Most of these students were in Kids Club while at Colonial Hills Elementary. Three of the same students have started attending Teen Time on Mondays as well. We are thrilled they are coming to both!
Teen Time students packed and delivered Food for Families on November 17th to the Kerrybrook Apartments. Residents were extremely appreciative and most every resident wanted a Bible. Teens prayed for the residents and there were many special requests. It was a blessed evening!
Kids Club will focus on the birth of Christ in December and the blessing of giving. Students will be able to choose a gift for their families and take home Bibles and tracts to share with them. Students will also receive gifts. We’ll provide a special staff breakfast the last week of school with student artwork calendars, lots of yummy food, and special gift tables for the staff to choose a little something from.
Please pray for those who participate in our Christmas outreach activities to draw close to the Lord and feel His presence in their lives. Thank the Lord along with us for His faithful provision for this ministry and those we serve.
