SUMMER SEND OFF-JUNE--2025

Thank you so much for giving!
May 23rd was the last day of school for staff, and we provided an End-of-School Year breakfast for Colonial Hills.  There were sausage biscuits, boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, strawberries, almond packages, and fruit juices. Colonial on-campus volunteers—Joey Johanson, Donna Hines, Beverly Buchhorn, Noemi Frances, Ann Peterson, and myself set up the breakfast and provided lots of help, hugs, well-wishes, and encouragement to “send-off” the staff for a summer of fun, refreshment, and relaxation.  There were smiles galore and excitement as every staff person on campus was able to receive a prize provided by our wonderful partners—YOU!  We had gift baskets, plants, and gift cards—66 in all!  It was amazing for the first time ever that everyone in attendance received a gift.  Thank you so much!
June 8-13, ten of our Kids Club students will be going to His Hill Ranch Camp in Comfort, TX for a week of fun and adventure as they learn more about God and hopefully grow closer to Him.  They will enjoy food, games, swimming, horseback riding, singing, and Bible study.  Please pray for each one to be safe and make memories that will last their lifetime.
On July 1st, we will provide school supply registrations at the Kerrybrook Apartments.  Those attending camp register the day they go to camp.  We anticipate 75 students registering for supplies for the upcoming school year.  If you would like to purchase supplies, we will need them by July 28th for packing.  School supplies will be delivered August 2nd and school begins August 11th.  If you would like to donate for school supplies, we will be happy to purchase them for you.  At present, we have twenty-six backpacks.  Backpacks are always needed, so thank you in advance if you choose to provide backpacks instead of supplies.  Supplies needed are: pencils, blue and black pens, wide ruled spirals, comp books, notebook paper, two-pocket folders with brads, glue sticks, white glue, washable broad-tip markers, colored pencils, construction paper, 5” and 7” pointed scissors, index cards, rulers, pink erasers, sharpies, and highlighters.
